Lover of your Soul...

Did you ever wonder how someone could love you?  You may have made some colossal mistakes and think that no one could ever forgive you and love you for who you are.  You may be struggling with acceptance - being accepted by your family, your peers, even yourself.  You may not feel worthy of someone's love.  But, I have some good news for you!  There is a perfect love that casts out all fear and anxiety and worry.

The Bible says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).  God sent Jesus to the cross to die for our sins, to demonstrate His love for us.  Do you love someone so much that you would die in their place?  Well, Jesus did and does!  He loves you!  Are you willing to accept and know His love?  Do you yearn to fill the void in your life, to accept Jesus as your Savior, to confess your sins and be on your way to heaven?

If you answered YES, then there's great news!  Let me help you discover this great love, so you can have peace in your life, knowing that God is with you and loves you and wants what's best for you.

ADMIT YOUR SIN

All of us make wrong choices in our life - we sin against God.  The first step in accepting God's love is to admit you are a sinner.  The Bible is clear that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) and when we sin, we are deserving of death - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord."  (Romans 6:23).  Our sin separates us from God and is deserving of a serious penalty - DEATH.  Admit your sin and your separation from God.

BELIEVE IN JESUS

Because of our sin and separation from God, He saw fit to save us from everlasting punishment.  He sent Jesus Christ, His Son, to a cross to die in our place, to take our punishment.  "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8).  Jesus did it so we wouldn't have to!  He loves us that much!  Not only did he die for us, but He lives for us!  He rose from the grave to prove to us how much He loves us.  He desires a personal relationship with each of us.  But, you have to accept it and believe it.  "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved."  (Acts 16:31)

CONFESS TO HIM

"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."  (Romans 10:9)  Once your admit you are a sinner and believe in what Jesus did for you, you must confess your sins and let God know you are ready to have a personal relationship with Him.  If you are ready to accept His love for you and begin a new life in Him, pray this simple prayer from your heart:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner.  I believe that you love me and
sent your Son, Jesus to die on a cross for me.  I believe that He rose
from the grave and you desire to have a peronsal relationship with
me.  I want to turn away from my sin and accept you as my personal
Lord and Savior.  Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, forgive me of my
sin, and save me.  Help me live a new life for you.  In Jesus' name
       I pray, Amen.
