Our Banner "And
Moses built an altar and named it, ‘The LORD is my Banner.’” Exodus 17:15 Yahweh-nissi which means “The LORD is my Banner” was the
name Moses gave to an altar he built after the Amalekites attacked Israel. Of course, Israel defeated them
because Aaron and Hur held up the hands of Moses, one on one side and one on the other. The banner that
was lifted up was a rallying cry and signal that Moses was to orient his life and actions according to the Lord’s direction.
How about you? Do you have any banners in your life that you can look to or point to where you can
say you sought the Lord’s direction and you won the victory because of what He had done? Think about
it, “The LORD is Our Banner.”
